As Van Valkenburg inferred above, what is happening in professional golf is identical to the Steroid Era of baseball. Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, and Sammy Sosa were juiced, just as today’s golf ball and clubs are juiced.

    1. I regret and apologize for the slurs I used in my previous reply. Such slurs were not necessary to make my point that I would prefer playing a sport rather then watching others play for pay. I no longer desire to watch professional sports where the integrity and challenges of the particular sport has been sacrificed to grow the handle for all those on the take. It saddens me that golf has become just like the other pro sports but at least I can continue playing golf. I think the huge money in sports and entertainment is symptomatic of cultural roy.

    2. Agreed! Perhaps LIV has had one redeeming quality, and that is to reveal those who are acting exactly like whores and pimps over the money being thrown around right now. And, who knows, perhaps too many of them have always had that attitude. It just took a repressive regime with too much money to flush them out of the woodwork.

      1. I sorta think they, players, are in a money trap that may bring a stiff price for they and their families. If I could play like them I’d probably step in the same trap
